Self-Portrait

Tip 1: A self-portrait should be a very personal expression, not simply a mirror of something you've seen elsewhere. Think about who you want to be and how you want to say that. Use props, scenery, pose and lighting conditions to convey your personality. And most of all, have fun!
Tip 2: In conjunction with the timer, you can usually set your camera to take multiple photos in succession. Even if all you need is one photo, it's not a bad idea to have your camera snap five or ten so you can vary your pose/expression. This will give you much more variety when it comes time to choose the image. Just make sure you have your settings perfect before turning burst on, otherwise you'll have a card full of unusable shots.

Environmental

 The reason I picked this photo is because of the surrounding blossoms and how they add to feeling of his surroundings and photoshoot.

This picture is just a quiet setting and pleases me.

Casual

I picked this picture because he looks completely relaxed, which is what I think casual photos should be all about. Relaxation.

I picked this one because he doesn't seem to be trying to hard to get this shot.

Formal

Who ever heard of a formal baby, but seriously, my baby sister has some formal pictures and they are just so cute.

 

Albert Einstein is one of idols so, finding this formal picture of the smartest goofball I've ever heard of is something I can't pass up.
